DON'T bet your house on it! Arsenal fanatic loses his home after wager with United pal - who staked his car... and wife

Do you know!
On this day Saturday November 10th 2011, an Arsenal fanatic is homeless after betting his
house on the Gunners beating Manchester United
last weekend.
According to reports in Uganda, Henry Dhabasani
lost the bet with Rashid Yiga who staked his wife
and his new Toyota Premio that United would
win.
Tribal leaders witnessed the wager which was put
in writing before a decisive goal from former
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie gave United
victory over the Premier League leaders at Old
Trafford.

Uganda's Observer newspaper reported that
Dhabasani, who has three wives and five children,
fainted at the final whistle and was evicted from
his two-room house the next day... by United
supporters.
The Gunners' defeat is not the first time an
Arsenal result has had dire consequences this
season.
After Arsenal's 2-0 win over Liverpool earlier this
month, a policeman allegedly shot his friend in
Durban, South Africa, after he was taunted over
the result.
According to reports, the man, a Liverpool fan,
was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

City to take Arsenal challenge.

Arsenal and Manchester City have an opportunity
to lay down a marker ahead of the new season in
Sunday’s FA Community Shield.
City are back at the traditional Wembley curtain-
raiser after winning the Premier League title, while
for Arsenal it is their first appearance in this fixture
since 2005 following their FA Cup success in May.
The World Cup has taken centre stage during the
summer but there have been plenty of
developments on the domestic front to set the
scene for what promises to be another thrilling
campaign, with managerial changes and a host of
summer signings.
Arsenal have been unusually busy in the transfer
market and, fresh from ending their nine-year wait
for silverware, will be confident of kicking on this
term and achieving even more.
They finished fourth in the league in 2013/14, seven
points adrift of champions City, but the most
disappointing aspect of their season was perhaps
how poorly they fared against the other top teams,
and that is something they will be determined to
address.
A 6-3 defeat at the Etihad Stadium provided great
entertainment but some painful memories for
Arsenal, who also lost heavily at Liverpool and
Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger is convinced that Arsenal are
becoming more competitive, though, and has taken
steps to narrow the gap further by spending heavily
on Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, Calum
Chambers and David Ospina.
Sanchez and Debuchy are likely to feature against
City and Chambers is also available, but goalkeeper
Ospina has a thigh injury.
Yaya Sanogo scored four goals in the friendly
victory over Benfica last week and may be given
the nod up front as Olivier Giroud continues to
build fitness.
German World Cup winners Mesut Ozil, Per
Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski will not feature.
City have also brought in some fresh faces in a bid
to build on last season’s achievements, signing
Fernando, Willy Caballero and, on loan, Frank
Lampard.
Bacary Sagna has also been recruited following the
end of his Arsenal contract and will link up with
former Gunners team-mates Samir Nasri and Gael
Clichy.
A long run in the UEFA Champions League will be a
target for City despite being punished for breaching
financial fair play rules, but the main aim will be to
defend their Premier League crown.
City came out just two points ahead of Liverpool in
a dramatic title race last season, as Manuel
Pellegrini enjoyed a magnificent first year in charge
of the club.
Pellegrini will be without Alvaro Negredo against
Arsenal after the striker sustained a serious foot
injury in pre-season which is expected to keep him
out for a few months.
Lampard is deemed not ready to feature yet
following his arrival on loan, and the same applies
to fellow new signing Sagna, along with Sergio
Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis,
Fernandinho and skipper Vincent Kompany - six
City players who were involved in the knockout
stages of the World Cup.
However, there could be debuts for two new
recruits in goalkeeper Caballero and midfielder
Fernando.
City will hope to show on Sunday that they remain
the team to beat, in a clash which will be refereed
by Michael Oliver and will feature the vanishing
spray which was used at the World Cup.

EBOLA HOT WATER AND SALT PREVENTION STRATEGY.

Friends,..sources has it that bathing with hot water mix with salt is a precaution measure against the deadly Ebola disease....if this is true, then we have not much to worry about... Just take your bath with salt and u are good for the day.. Loops!

Ebola and prevention

When it comes to Ebola, prevention involves
avoiding direct contact with the body fluid of
infected people. Also, it's important to avoid
direct contact with the body of an Ebola victim
who has died. For healthcare workers in Africa,
who are most likely to encounter cases of Ebola,
prevention focuses on being able to recognize
cases of the disease when they appear, as well
as using barrier isolation techniques to avoid
direct contact with infected people.
Ebola Prevention: An Overview
Once an Ebola outbreak begins, the effects of the
virus can be devastating. There is no Ebola cure ,
and once a person develops an Ebola virus
infection, the chance of death can be as high as
90 percent.
Because there is no Ebola vaccine that is
currently licensed, Ebola prevention focuses on
preventing direct contact with body fluid of those
infected with the virus. Another aspect of Ebola
prevention involves avoiding direct contact with
the body of an Ebola victim who has died as a
result of the virus.
Challenges of Ebola Prevention
Ebola prevention in Africa presents many
challenges. Because the identity and location of
the animal host of Ebola virus are unknown, there
are few established primary Ebola prevention
measures.
If cases of Ebola do appear, current social and
economic conditions often favor the spread of an
epidemic within healthcare facilities; therefore,
healthcare providers must be able to recognize a
case of Ebola should one appear. They must also
have the capability to perform Ebola diagnostic
tests and be ready to employ practical Ebola
isolation precautions or barrier nursing
techniques. These techniques include:
The use of infection-control measures,
including complete sterilization of equipment
The isolation of patients with Ebola
hemorrhagic fever from contact with
unprotected people
The wearing of protective clothing, such as
masks, gloves, gowns, and goggles.

Robinho goes back home!!

"This is my home. It's a place where I
feel very good and where I came into the
world of football. I hope to repay the
affection of all the fans on the pitch. I
want to put Santos back where they
should be, at the very top of the table"

That was the words from the Brazil's forward  Robinho, he just of recent joined Santos on a season- long loan from AC Milan...I think he's looking forward to recapture fitness and success. Good luck for him...what's your wish?....

United leads Vermaelen's chase

Barcelona looked to have taken pole position in
the race to sign the 28-year-old Belgium
international on Tuesday when they made a bid of
£10million for the player.
However,  sources have revealed that United
are Vermaelen’s preferred destination and the Old
Trafford club will have no problem matching or
beating Barca’s offer.

Vermaelen's future at Arsenal has been the
subject of speculation all summer, with the
centre-back entering the final year of his contract
at the Emirates.....OMG...am seeing this guy at old Trafford next season. Do u think this will be a big blow to arsenal?
